How to Use Bike Gears?
The Rear gears are located on the back wheel of the bike. When you set some of the rear gears collectively in mounting intensity and attach them onto your back wheel, they are introduced as a cassette. Most bikes manufactured in the previous years have within 8 and 11 gears in the cassette. You can buy the rear gears from Shimano, Sram, Campagnolo, FSA, MicroSHIFT.Tips To Use Bike Gear
Do PracticeDrive up and down a moderately calm road or path and practice shifting up and down the gears, both fore and rear, until you can change gear most intuitively.
Cogs
Almost all bikes have two sets of gear cogs. Front cog and rear cog. The front cog is known as chainrings and it induces big changes in the gear. The left gear lever helps the front derailleur to change the chain within these chainrings. The rear cogs collectively form the cassette, and the right gear lever controls the derailleur that moves the chain up and down.
Stay on one Chainring
It is very alluring to stay on one chainring, and simply change the gears at the back. If you cross the chain it can exhaust both your chain and gears, leading to expensive replacements.
Approaching A Hill
When you are approaching a hill, get active to begin turning down the gears as soon as the hill begins. If you do get yourself in too difficult a gear on a climb, try and drive sideways opposite the slope and change gear.
Shift Gradually
Shift gradually, making certain the chain has fastened with each new gear before going onto the next one.
