The precise, extremely fluid movement of the front derailleur is achieved in part thanks to the new cables and their housing and in part because of the design and construction of the 2x12-speed front derailleur. Design of the 2x12 speed front derailleur and its trajectory angle mean wide tires measuring up to 32 mm can be used, while the new design of the cage and dedicated positions for each gear position ensure extremely precise and fluid derailleur performance.

It is possible that it rubs in the fine adjustment, the box has a different size. If you have it, mount it and try. If you hear the chain rubbing, it probably has to do with the width of the cage (cage) and the advance of the lever, they can pull different distances.

Good evening, let´s say that the movement is controlled by the levers positioned on the handlebar which inside have gears with 11 or 12 notches, so the 12 one could work with 11 movements vice versa not, however I would recommend the 11 speed Campagnolo Centaur still in production for precision reasons. https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/es/campagnolo-desviador-centaur/136661617/p

Without having the technical information, and from my common sense, yes, if you can use an 11 V and 12 V front derailleur, the range of movement to engage the two chainrings is wide enough to use that derailleur, of course it is best to mount the derailleur specific for the sprocket, plates and levers assembly.

Hello, it is not recommended that you buy a 12v one to replace an 11v one since the cable displacement is different. The one that is 11v from the current series is the Centaur. Shifters and derailleurs usually have a marked letter to know the compatibility. This model is letter FG, while yours is probably CD. With that you can orient yourself or with the code that appears on the back of the derailleur, success!
Chorus 12 or Veloce 10 for 11 speed group

I am going to buy a Centaur 11 speed group. Will the 10 speed Veloce front derailleur work for this. Will the 12 speed Chorus front derailleur work with an eleven speed group or be a little narrow?

Chain for 10, 11, and 12 speed are different. This not advisable to use veloce - 10 speed - for centaur - 11 speed. Same reasoning for the 12 speed.
