Good option for a tire of this price, the high studs are higher than what is usual today which gives a plus of durability, the brown side gives it an incredible aesthetic. Good support with the somewhat high side studs.

Are these vortex tires suitable for "crotched type rims only"?

I am currently wearing Schwalbe Smart Sam 29" tires with a width of 2.25, that is, ETRTO 57-622. The tires come with the indication "For crotched type rims only", that is, the rim (which is a NON-TUBELESS type) has a rim interior that acts as a hook preventing the ring that the covers have (metal or Kevlar) from coming off. Will these massi vortex covers be worth replacing them?

It wouldn´t work for you since you are covered, although they indicate that they are for tubeless, there is no way to heel them!
