I have installed them on a Mavic mountain tire, it has several rubbers so that it adapts. I have put it with one that is rectangular and it works well. I had to put a lot of sealant in it because I have them tunneled and they did not fit well at first, but in the end with patience and more liquid they no longer lose

These are hands down the best valves. Aside from swappable rubber stops, the end of the valve inside the wheel has a crown that prevents sealant from backing up to the valve. Also comes as pairs and much cheaper at bikeinn.

The stock valves that came with the 454 nsw tends to clog when sealants are added. This works very well, lighter. Would be perfect if they come in 70mm. 80mm is a tad too long. I m just being a perfectionist here

It depends on the profile of the wheel, and if you want the valve to protrude a lot or be tighter. For profile 60 I use the 80 and profile 40 the 60. For MTB I don´t think you have that much profile.

It depends on the profile of the tire; Minimum minimum, I would recommend that the valve be at least 12mm longer than the rim profile. For example, for a rim with up to 32 mm profile, 44 mm valves will be perfect. Between 33 and 48 mm profile, you would have to take 60 mm. If you take them too long (for example, a 60 mm for a rim with a 25 mm profile), they can break or they can ruin the hole (especially if they are carbon), simply by inflating the wheels. Since the Berria Mako is a mountain bike, I don´t think it has tires with an aerodynamic profile like those for road or some gravel bikes, so in principle 44 mm would be best. All the best!
