Have used this adaptor to be able to transport my new bike with thru-axle fitting, onto the quick release holder I made for carrying bikes inside my car. Brilliant bit of kit, arrived quicker than expected. Good choice of adaptors, which were a bit fiddly to fit! Once the right adaptors selected and fitted. Holds bike very securely (better than the old quick release) whilst being transported inside my car. Very please.

Hi there. You get the robust metal bracket that fits onto an old style quick release wheel, front axle receiver. A selection of hard plastic inserts for the various size through axles, which the forks locate onto, and are held in place by your thru axle bolt. I´m very pleased with mine and it was an easy fit onto my old quick release front wheel fork adaptor in my car. Hope this helps

Hello, When I bought this product a few months ago, only the U-shaped metal bracket and the 4 pairs of plastic rings in the first photo were provided.

No plastic base. In the box is the metal adapter and four size options of plastic rings of diameters 12,15, 15boost, or 20mm. (you fit this adapter to an existing conventional quick release bike rack - which are typically QR 100). Basically convert your old standard quick release fork mount to any of the newer fork widths & diameters.

Bring some adapters to be able to remove possible looseness, you won´t have any problems. You can also make them homemade with PVC pipe.
