The simplified one-piece Direct Mount design saves weight compared to traditional spider mounted rings. Compatible with: Shimano® 12s cranksets: XTR® M9100, M9120, XT® ;8100, M8130, SLX® M7100, M7120, M7130 and FC-MT900. Only compatible to Shimano® 12s chains: CN-M9100, M9100, M7100 HG+.

It was my first oval crown and I adapted super well on the first few pedals. It actually seems to increase pedaling performance a little bit. The quality of the product is indisputable and much lighter than the original XT crown with spider. Very fast shipping. I recommend.

The perfect assembly and in the absence of going through the adaptation cycle again, sure to be great, I went from round to oval rotor and once I adapted the best of the best and I went back to the round one to change all the set and the round one was already included which I no longer like and after many months I return to the oval rotor.

Hello! As a bicycle mechanic and MTB cyclist, this oval chainring is one of the best options in terms of product quality. Totally recommended for the new Shimano 12-speed cranks, both XT and SLX. Remember that when mounting a larger or smaller chainring, it may be necessary to move the pulley wheels away or closer to the cassette using the gear screw located on the top of the gear and whose screw rests on the gear dropout. If we tighten the screw, the washer will move away and if we loosen it, it will come closer. Greetings,

I went from an 11-46x34T oval transmission (from another brand) to 10-51x36T oval Rotor. The oval of the plate is more noticeable when pedaling, but the orientation of the plate on the pedalboard is better suited to harnessing the force in the pedaling cycle. Either in relation to the oval plate that you used before or to the round plate that came standard on the bicycle.

Hi, I bought this chainring and some Shimano notch that has but does not fit, what could happen?

It´s very weird. The notch should fit perfectly and then you can close it. The crank may have a small defect in that part because being a direct mount it should fit perfectly. I didn´t have any problems mounting it.

The big letters as you say go outside. Anyway you will see it because it is the only way to screw it on the connecting rod. The position of the plate is marked by the notches in the center of the plate

The large serigraphy remains on the internal side, you cannot go wrong, the position is bound by the fixing keying, the teeth go inwards (3mm offset), the external side is what you see in the photo.

Can I mount the oval rotor chainring for Shimano 12v with a non-Shimano chain (kmc in my case)?

Hello! Yes, you can mount the chainring with another chain as long as it is 12v. kMC does not usually give problems. There are other lesser-known brands that are now coming onto the market that are sometimes a bit narrower and sometimes with the new chainring, the first few km until it adapts, it can fit worse on the teeth of the chainring. But with KMC it doesn´t happen.
