Good rack, simple but effective

This is my second round with a Topeak seatpost rack. The first one was too small to transfer to a new bike with larger post. But my original RX bag - from years ago - still work great and fits. A nice upgrade. Well built, good quality. Does the job.

Topeak V-type rack clearance

Hi there, Would the Topeak V-type rack suit a 52 cm frame, how far does it drop ,down from the seat post? Thanks, Kat

Hi Kat, Not sure of the exact measurement but the rack is designed to be level once installed My bike has a drop post so I cannot use that feature with the rack in place as it will hit the tire Otherwise, it´s a good fit and can accommodate my full suspension bike My bike is a large Giant Trance 3 Hope this helps Michel

Hi Kat, Topeak V-type rack suit any frame to my opinion, you mount it on seat post in the position that provides 2-3 cm space between bottom pipe of rack and top of rear wheel tire. The matter is to get center of mass as low as possible for more stable ride. So, size of frame really doesn´t matter. My frame is 52. But size of seat post is important. It should be about 10 cm minimum. I mean space between frame and seat. If less - it is not possible to mount the rack, it will touch rear wheel. Hope this will help. Best regards Yuri
